Gradebook

Students are assessed fairly and equally.  Grades are based on the rubrics provided in the classroom. I point out to my students where s/he has done well and where improvements can be made. I encourage my students to push themselves technically and creatively; striving on the notion that “practice makes perfect”.

Given that all students learn and retain information differently, I think it is vital to utilize different methods of feedback not only to connect with all students but also to keep the classroom setting diverse. Regardless of the method of feedback, video or the written word, the grading rubric is clearly noted, and the assignment’s competencies are reiterated.
