“Street Photography”
In this class, students are asked to capture images showing evidence of humans in public locations; meaning either photographing people or items that they have created or left behind. Students study the works of Henri Cartier-Bresson, Vivian Maier, Robert Frank, and more for inpiration. For the final portfolio, students select their top images that could potentially be used to market their photography skills in the future.

“Digital Photo Workflow”
In this course, students are introduced to the basics of taking photographs using the Manual Mode with their DSLR cameras. Editing techniques are taught using Adobe Lightroom. Throughout the course, students are asked to share a “behind the scenes” screenshot of their work completed within Lightroom. For the final portfolio, students select their top images that could potentially be used to market their photography skills in the future.
